Training in the New Forest

Back in April Dave and Richard decided that time was going by too fast and no real bike training was being done so they signed up to do the Wiggle Sportive in the New Forest.
It was a very well organised, joyful day - 56 miles through some amazing scenery with lots of colourful cyclists. They even managed to include a 25% hill in the route - which was a bit of a nasty surprise!
Wiggle sponsor a whole season of different Sportive events in the South and South West of England.

Bodinnick Ferry - Tour of Cornwall 2010

Half of the crew (the best half) riding LEJOG this year. This was only 3 miles into the Tour and the smiles disappeared about 10 miles later - but that. they say. is another story.

If you are reading this then you will have found a way to get to the LEJOG 2011 blog I set up last July.

When I get the hang of it the detailed route will be posted, but, in the meantime, I hope to finalise the route cards soon and shall send copies of the 21 days to each of you.
